St. Clare, Virgin
On the Memorial of St. Clare, Virgin, I recall our most Sacred Calling as Baptized Christians made in the Image and Likeness of God. We are called to be Saints! Visiting her Shrine in Assisi, Italy, I was reminded of the Grace of Baptism. Infused with the Theological Virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity and the Cardinal Virtues of Temperance, Justice, Fortitude and Prudence, and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit; I have been given the graces necessary to reach the heights of holiness. I too, am called to be a Saint. May the modeled virtue of St. Clare, be a seed in our heart and soul to emulate her HEROISM!
